A research team led by Prof. ZHANG Gaopeng from Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) reported an on-orbit distortion parameter calibration method based on vanishing point consistency.
A research group led by Prof. LI Xiangyang from the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science has theoretically predicted a series of multiferroic materials that can be applied in room-temperature environments by utilizing the d-p spin coupling combined with center-symmetry-breaking organic heterocycles in two-dimensional Cr-based metal-organic frameworks.
The Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) operation team at the Nanshan Station of Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory operated the NanShan 26-meter Radio Telescope (NSRT) to participate in 4-Gbps VLBI observations organized by the European VLBI Network (EVN).
Researchers from the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory, and their collaborators, presented the first unbiased λ 3 mm line survey (between 84.5 and 115.8 GHz) toward the CSE of the carbon-rich AGB star IRC +10216 using the 13.7 m radio telescope of Purple Mountain Observatory.
With the help of nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, a research group led by Prof. WANG Hui from the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science has prepared a carbon-covered hollow cuprous oxide high-efficiency catalyst by using the solvent autocarbonylation reduction strategy, which provided a new solution for the electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction in the preparation of multicarbon products.
Prof. ZHOU Meng's team from the University of Science and Technology of China, collaborating with Prof. WANG Quanming's team from Tsinghua University, achieved near-unity room-temperature photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) (>99%) in the near-infrared (NIR) emission of metal nanoclusters in solution.
