Symposium Theme and Focus
The Earth is a complex, dynamic system, and our collective understanding needs to be improved. Global changes resulting from natural factors and human activities are modifying our living environment. The relationship between human activities and the Earth's systems and environment are substantial, cumulative, and accelerating.
With this in mind, Asia-Pacific Remote Sensing focuses on state-of-the-art active and passive remote sensing technologies and applications to monitor the atmosphere, water, and land. The symposium will bring together policy makers, scientists, and engineers from the international community to discuss the development of remote sensing technologies, data processing techniques, applications of remote sensing data, and the societal benefits of global environmental health monitoring.
