Book on China's Wetland Vegetation and Plants Published

An illustrated reference book on China's wetland vegetation and plants has been published, according to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

The book, published by China's Science Press, was compiled by researchers from the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology under the CAS. Recording 659 species of wetland plants commonly seen in China, it is a reference book for identifying wetland vegetation and plants in the wild.

The book describes the wetland resources and protection in China. It includes photos of different types of wetland vegetation, as well as information on various wetland plants, including an identification guide, distribution, and values.

The book provides reference for wetland researchers and personnel in natural reserves working on wetland investigations, plant identification, and wetland resource utilization, according to the CAS. (Xinhua)
