Researchers at the State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the CAS have developed a super-hydrophobic and super-oleophobic surface. They have received a Chinese invention patent for the technique on October 19, 2011. The patent is 200810183392.4.
2011-12-23 A new comprehensive database for lineage-based co-regulated genes (LCGbase) was provided by Professor YU and his team at Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), for studying gene clustering and ordering with multiple genes based on the stringently-defined conserved paired gene clusters.
