Springer published the electronic version of Volume 5, Issue 1 of the Journal of Arid Land (JAL) at Springer’s online information platform SpringerLink on December 14, 2012, marking the beginning of cooperation between Springer and the sponsors of JAL. The journal is the official publication of Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences (XIEG) and co-sponsored by XIEG and Science Press.
YEREVAN, Armenia, Oct. 4, 2012, Synopsys announced that the winner of final stage of the Seventh Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia went to MA Tianyu, Ph.D student of Dept.7 of the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(IMECAS). This is also the first time the championship falls on China.
