After many years of hard work, a research group headed by Prof. Ma Huimin from the CAS Institute of Chemistry has made progress in developing a convenient and reliable method for the studies of conformational changes in dimeric proteins. Their studies of folding/unfolding of a protein structure through measuring the donor-donor energy migration between two fluorescent probes coupled selectively to the N termini of the homodimeric DsbC protein is spoken highly by their colleagues. The work has been published in
Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(2004, 43, 4216-4219).
