The newly-completed main building in the new campus of the CAS Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conservation (GIEC) was checked and accepted on August 28.
As from Sept. 1, the Provincial Key Laboratory of New and Renewable Energy Resources and the CAS Key Laboratory of Renewable Energy Resources and Hydrate & Natural Gas, both affiliated to GIEC, have moved in. With a floor space of more than 10,000 square meters and state-of-the-art technical and communication facilities, the modern building will provide better research and experiment infrastructure for the three research centers and eight research teams of GIEC.
