Symposium preludes CAS work conference

CAS administrators, who had gathered to participate in the CAS annual conference in Beijing, attended March 25 a symposium on S&T innovation and national competitiveness.


    CAS administrators, who had gathered to participate in the academy's annual work conference in Beijing, attended March 25 a symposium on S&T innovation and national competitiveness sponsored jointly by CAS, the State Development and Reform Commission, U.S. Monitor Group and Arch Venture Partners.

    At the meeting, three senior experts from Monitor Group and Arch Venture Partners delivered talks on such topics as government behavior and innovation, innovation and S&T management, and industrialization of innovation. It is hoped that such an activity would help the participants develop new ideas for innovation management at CAS.
