Micro-quasars are stellar-mass black holes within the Milky Way. The Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) has, for the first time, revealed that these objects are a class of ultra-high-energy gamma-ray sources in our galaxy. The findings also advance our understanding of the extreme physical processes that occur in black hole systems. (CGTN)
