Chinese scientists completed an expedition to Mount Qomolangma in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on May 23. They gained valuable samples and data for studying the world's highest peak's climate and ecological environment as well as its impact on other parts of the world. (CGTN)
Chinese scientists used drones to collect atmospheric samples at different heights of Mount Qomolangma for the first time as part of the recent scientific expedition on the world's highest peak.
The Chinese, once again, have conquered Mount Qomolangma, days before the 70th anniversary of human's first successful ascent to the top of the world. CGTN reporter Wan Hongjia brings more from the base camp.
