CAS Vice President LI Jinghai met with a visiting delegation of French National Scientific Research Center (CNRS) led by Prof. Jean-luc Clement, director of international relations of CNRS on Feb. 23 in Beijing.
The French visitors briefed the host on the latest situation of CNRS after its organization reform. Prof. Li informed the French visitors of the on-going "knowledge innovation program" at CAS.
The two sides discussed the possible ways for the future collaboration in the field of processing engineering, and expressed the hope to define its theme as soon as possible. They agreed that cooperation potentials could be tapped through bilateral workshops. They also held detailed discussions on the mechanisms for research professional security, institute-university partnership, and talent training.
