Accompanied by Prof. GUO Huadong, vice secretary-general of CAS, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand and her entourage visited the CAS Institute of Remote Sensing Applications (IRA) on Nov. 28 in Beijing. As a major in aerial survey in college, HRH the Princess is very interested in remote sensing expertise. This was the third time she came to the institute. Prof. ZHAO Zhongming, vice director of IRA, briefed the Thai visitors the development of IRA over the past decade and showed them around research labs.
