USTC, CAS Hefei Institutes to forge comprehensive cooperation

The signing ceremony for cooperation between the University of Science and Technology of China and the CAS Hefei Institutes of Physical Science was held on April 4 in Hefei.


    The signing ceremony for cooperation between the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the CAS Hefei Institutes of Physical Science (HIPS) was held on April 4 in Hefei, capital of east China’s Anhui Province.

    According to the agreement, USTC, a major research university in China, and HIPS, which is founded in 2001 by combining several CAS institutes in the fields of optics, fine mechanics, plasma physics, and solid state physics in Hefei, will collaborate in an all-round way. They will work closely and share resources in terms of academic disciplinary development, graduate education, scientific research, academic exchanges, human resources and logistic support.
