The Laboratory of Plant Diversity and Prominent Crops (proposed) is looking for applications for the positions of director. Applicants should be highly-qualified and internationally recognized experts in the research fields of plant diversity and conservation, phylogenetics and evolution, and rapid domestication and improvement of prominent crops.
Applicants should have demonstrated an outstanding ability, innovative potential, and scientific stringency. The Laboratory of Plant Diversity and Prominent Crops (proposed) is mainly engaged in researches of plant diversity and conservation, phylogenetics and evolution, and rapid domestication and improvement of important economic crops. It is established based on the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and is jointly established by other four institutions of CAS, including the Kunming Institute of Botany, the South China Botanical Garden, the Wuhan Botanical Garden and the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden. The laboratory comprises 50-60 research teams.
