Main Functions: to publicize and communicate the academy’s major innovation achievements and research progress at home and abroad; to promote scientific spirit and develop scientific culture; to organize, direct and coordinate comprehensively science communication works of CAS-affiliated bodies; to plan and implement major communication activities for the whole academy; to process information for policy-makers; to monitor and deal with public opinion; to take charge of science popularization and publishing; to undertake other works entrusted by CAS administrators.
