China Expands World's Largest Space Weather Monitoring Network

China's national space weather monitoring network, the Meridian Project, passed national acceptance procedures for Phase II on March 21, making it the world's largest comprehensive space environment monitoring network alongside Phase I. Construction of the second phase began in 2019, adding 16 stations, 58 observation points and 195 sets of space weather equipment. (CGTN)
