The 5th WCBR and the 37th session of the UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere International Co-ordinating Council will be held in China in 2025. This will be the first time that the WCBR is held in China, and also in the Asia-Pacific region.
MAB's implementation has played a positive role in the biodiversity conservation, sustainable use of natural resources, the building of ecological civilization and a beautiful China, and the development of ecological research in China.
