China’s Belt and Road Initiative of China is expected to benefit all countries involved in this joint endeavor. While Central and Northeast Asia countries are our important partners in developing the Belt and Road Initiative, they may also pose increased risks of invasive species to China due to their diversity in animal species and frequent interactions with China. By carrying out extensive international cooperation and exchanges centering around the monitoring and control of agricultural pests, we will be able to achieve the coordinated development in biological safety and regional economy in China. Meanwhile, by promoting advanced green agricultural and other high technologies in these countries, we will help them reduce poverty and increase productivity, thus contributing to  efforts of building a global community of shared prosperity in the future.
