About the award

The Award for International Scientific Cooperation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), established in 2007, commends and rewards high-level international experts in technology and management who have made outstanding contributions to the international scientific and technological cooperation of CAS.

Awardees

The award honors individuals who have:

1. Made outstanding contributions to promoting the establishment of strategic partnerships between CAS and foreign scientific institutions, universities, enterprises, or international academic organizations.

2. Introduced innovative ideas, technology or methodology, helped CAS resolve key issues in science, technology and management, and achieved major scientific results or brought about remarkable economic and social benefits.

3. Helped CAS cultivate innovative talent or introduce outstanding scientists from abroad and played an important role in enhancing research and management capacity.

4. Made remarkable contributions to the construction, operation, and management of major scientific facilities or to the design, organization, and implementation of major science initiatives at CAS.
