WU Jianguo, born in Nantong city, Jiangsu province 1966, is the Vice Secretary General of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the director of the Bureau of Facility Support and Budget, CAS. He graduated from the Department of Physics, Huaqiao University and received a Ph. D degree thereafter.
WU was once the deputy director of the Institute of Physics, CAS, served as the deputy mayor of Mianyang city, Sichuan province one time, and was once the director of the Administrative Bureau of CAS.
