First to Generate Graphdiyne
Institute of Chemistry
In 2010, scientists at the Institute of Chemistry achieved large-scale chemical synthesis, for the first time in the world, of a thin film they named “graphdiyne.”
This manmade substance has now become a new member of the carbon materials family.
Since then, the researchers have made a series of breakthroughs involving graphdiyne in the fields of catalysis, energy, photoelectronics, life science, information intelligence, and new modes of material conversion and transformation.
