ALSAKA Lilyan Engineering sciences University of Mosul Iraq

Ms. ALSAKA was born in Baghdad the capital of Iraq in 1973. She received her B. Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1995 and M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering in 1999 in Technology University, Baghdad, Iraq.

She lived in the family were consist of parents, two sisters and one brother in her childhood. Until the age of seven their home was in Kamp Sarah. Then they moved to Dorah, there she spent the rest of her life to be graduated from the Civil Engineering. She completed the high study in specialty engineering of the environment in Technological University in Baghdad. She has excelled in studies；her brother graduated from the faculty of Agricultural Engineering. While her larger sister graduated from the medical institute and the other sister completed study the master’s degrees in Engineering Laser. Her parents love science because they taught her to safer, commitment seriousness for accepting the science. She got married in 2000 and she is a mother of two children girl named Lena and son named Karam.

She is an assistant lecturer at university of Mosul in Civil Engineering Department. More ever, she is a researcher and professor in Environment and Pollution Control Research Center at the same University.

Her current research interests are on Water Quality& quantity,Environmental pollution by heavy metals and wastewater treatment. A lot of her research has been published in national and international journals.
