To further develop a technical support system

Centering on S&T innovation, the technical backup system at CAS should serve the need of scientific discoveries and inventions, the state-of-the-art key technology development, major system integration and technological transfer, says CAS President LU Yongxiang.


    Centering on S&T innovation, the technical backup system at CAS should serve the need of scientific discoveries and inventions, the state-of-the-art key technology development, major system integrations and technological transfer, said CAS President LU Yongxiang at a conference on CAS technical support system held on 27 and 28 October in Beijing. With that aim in mind, he emphasized, efforts should be made to create a sound environment and offer necessary conditions (including positions and funds) for the growth of qualified technicians and engineers.
