CAS researchers developed an HD underwater mini-camcorder

    A high-definition underwater mini-camcorder has recently been developed at the CAS Institute Optics and Electronics in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, adding a new member to the high-definition underwater camcorder series of the institute.

    Being composed of a roll camera and a control system, the camcorder  could be used in wide-range underwater video monitoring. Featured with light weight, small-size, it will have wide-range application potential in underwater scientific research.
