Scientists at the CAS Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP) have succeeded in developing and manufacturing full-color LED display panels with super clarity and uniformity.
Supported by the national innovation fund, researchers at a joint venture of CIOMP, the Changchun Cedar Electonic Technology Co. Ltd, started their work on LED monitors with super clarity and uniformity in 2002. After two-year hard work, they have come up with technology to make the video image fidelity up to the international standards. By adopting many advanced patents such as precision effectual scale time sectional scan, control and correction, complex merging approximation TSSM, complex weigh distribution scale control method and color gamut transform correction, the project improves the clarity and uniformity of the full-color LED display devices, coupled with the state-of-the-art measuring and debugging methods and equipment based on the existing circumstances of device and technology. The project possesses its own intellectual property rights.
