The State Key Laboratory for Catalysis (SKLC) affiliated to the CAS Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics has been rated excellent in a 2004 evaluation organized by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Established in 1984, SKLC has become a well-known research and training center in the field of catalysis. Over the past five years, the lab has scored novel achievements in the basic and applied basic research into new catalytic reactions, new catalytic materials and new characterization techniques in catalysis. The lab has received several national, CAS and provincial S&T or invention awards. Its researchers have published more than 500 papers and filed for more than 80 patents at home and abroad.
