A CAS Academic Divisions (CASAD) panel has finished its evaluation on a plan for the industrial development at the rim of Hangzhou Bay, which was commissioned by the Zhejiang Provincial government. From Nov. 28 to 30, the panel, accompanied by two vice governors of the province, made a field trip to cities in the area, including Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou. Together with 17 CAS members and experts from Beijing and Shanghai, CAS President Lu Yongxiang, who is also Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended an evaluation meeting held on Nov. 30 in Hangzhou.
