CAS scientists develop alert system for atmospheric diffusion of SARS
Researchers of the CAS Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) have successfully developed a SARS Virus Real-time Forecast System for the Diffusion in the Atmosphere (SARS-FSDA). With the aid of this system, researchers will be able to examine the diffusion and evolution of SARS virus in various weather conditions and make real-time forecast on the atmospheric diffusion of SARS virus in different cities, thus providing a scientific basis for the health authorities in their SARS control efforts.
