Open Rank Faculty Position and Postdocs in Immunology at XTBG

Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences (XTBG) is a comprehensive research institution engaged in biodiversity conservation and sustainable uses of plant resources, focusing on forest ecosystem ecology, conservation biology and resource plant development. XTBG is seeking an outstanding immunologist to join a research team to investigate mechanisms how bioactive chemicals from plants affect immune function. The candidate is expected to develop independent research program in a highly collaborative environment. Individuals with expertise in all areas of immunology including cellular and molecular immunology are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in animal models of immune mechanism mediated human diseases. Good publication record is a must. Candidates will be considered at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Positions in Immunology

Postdoc positions in immunology are available in the laboratory of Dr. ZHANG Ping, Open Lab of Plant Resource Science, XTBG. Candidates should have a solid understanding of basic immunology and significant hands-on experience in cellular or molecular immunology. Experience with T cells, NKT cells as well as innate immune cells are highly desirable. Individuals with a recent Ph.D. with background in microbiology or virology, pathology, physiology are also encouraged to apply. Individuals who are familiar with animal models of human diseases will be given preference. Candidates must be able to work in team while being able to work independently.
