IGDB Seeks Research Programs Group Leaders

The Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences(IGDB), the neighborhood of Beijing Olympic Village, has several openings for group leaders to join the Center for Developmental Biology.

IGDB is a leading institution of life sciences in China. IGDB currently hosts 63 research groups, of which 18 groups are actively involved in addressing fundamental questions in animal development using model organisms such as C. elegans, Drosophila, Xenopus, zebra fish and mouse.

IGDB seeks dynamic individuals with innovative research programs dedicated to vertebrate development in stem cell biology, developmental neurobiology, systems biology, animal cloning (cattle, sheep) and transgenic animal research.

Candidates with experience in transgenic or knock-out mouse are preferred to direct the mouse facility of IGDB. The appointment will be at Principal Investigator (full professor) level. Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree and a minimal four-year postdoctoral experience. Start-up package will be accompanied by either the “One-Hundred Talents Program of CAS” or the “One-Thousand Talents Program of China”. Salary and benefit will be provided based on their qualification.
