Fellow Positions at The Theoretical Physics Center for Science Facilities, CAS

The Theoretical Physics Center for Science Facilities (TPCSF), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing was formally launched on September 6, 2007 by the CAS in order to enhance the capabilities of scientific researches associated with the large-scale research facilities, especially those in China. TPCSF is a research center with strong emphasis on bringing theoretical scientists from particle physics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, cosmology and the physics based on synchrotron light source together to pursue the high quality research in theoretical physics, particularly in frontier physics connected with large-scale research facilities.

Senior research fellow positions at TPCSF, CAS

TPCSF now is inviting applications for 4 positions of senior research fellow. The initial offer of the position is for three years with a possibility of renewing to an un-limited term. The annual income for this position is in the range of RMB140K to RMB300K, depending on relevant experience. A certain amount of starting fund will also be granted with the offer.

Candidates with a Ph.D. and at least five years of postdoctoral experience in particle physics, nuclear physics, cosmology, astrophysics and the physics based on synchrotron light source are encouraged to apply with their CV, a brief research summary, including a list of publications, and future research plans along with three letters of reference to the following address:

Non-tenured Research associate fellow positions at TPCSF, CAS

TPCSF now is inviting applications for 4 non-tenured positions of research associate. The initial offer of the position is for three years and is renewable up to a total of six years depending on their qualification. The annual income for this position is in the range of RMB90K to RMB150K, depending on relevant experience. A certain amount of starting fund will also be granted with the offer.

TPCSF now is inviting applications for 2 postdoctoral fellow positions . The initial appointment of the position is for 1~3 year(s). This position could be promoted into a research associate position after an evaluation at the end of the appointment. The annual income for this position is in the range of RMB60K to RMB80K, depending on relevant experience.
