Tibet to join forces with CAS in developing renewable energy sources

"We'd like to have an all-around cooperation with the CAS Institute of Electronic Engineering to further tap the local sustainable energy sources," says Mr. WU Yingjie, deputy chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Regional Government.

    Mr. Wu made the remarks during a recent visitto the Institute on 26 November. He visited laboratories on wind and solar hybrid power, solar cells, evaporative cooling, magnetic levitation and electric cars.
