IAP Launches 2018 Atmospheric Experiment in Arctic

On 28 May 2018, scientists of Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences arrived at Ny Alesund (78°55′N, 11°56′E) where the Chinese Arctic station “Yellow River” locates to start their one-year field observation. Their mission is to observe the vertical structure of atmospheric boundary layer over different underlying surfaces in key Arctic regions. (Image by IAP)
