NEMB 2011 China Workshop

Jun 02, 2011

Time: June 2nd, 2011

Place: Conference Hall of Tsinghua-Foxconn Nano Technology Research Center, Tsinghua University

Introduction for the Workshop

The NEMB (NanoEngineering for Medicine and Biology) community and NEMB2011 China Workshop have the objective of fostering and supporting the integration of the Engineering disciplines, Physics, Chemistry and Nanotechnology with the Biomedical Sciences for addressing fundamental problems in Biology and Medicine, and developing novel devices for the early detection, imaging and cure of diseases. This initiative is supported by Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Science and The Methodist Hospital Research Institute (TX - USA).

The NEMB2011 China Workshop features three oral sessions with distinguished invited speakers from the three supporting institutions, and two poster sessions open to students and researchers who want to show case their activity to the NEMB community. Three posters will be selected for podium presentation at the end of the workshop and will receive an award.

If you are interested in submitting a poster for the NEMB2011 China Workshop email a 1 page abstract with Title, Author list and Affiliation to the attention of Prof. Ye (Tony) Hu (yhu@tmhs.org) and Prof. Paolo Decuzzi (pdecuzzi@tmhs.org) by May 15th.
