Industrial biotechnology is a very promising sector in China, and in recent years, enormous researches output have been generated in this field. Following a complete success in Huzhou 2010, the Bureau of Life Science and Biotechnology at Chinese Academy of Sciences (BLSB-CAS), China National Center for Biotechnology Development at Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of High-Tech Industry at National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Society of Biotechnology and Qingdao Municipal Government will jointly co-sponsor the 5th China Summit Forum on Industrial Biotechnology Development in Qingdao, from May 24 to 27, 2011.

As one of China’s largest and most authoritative forum, the Summit aims to provide a top platform for experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and police-makers to boost the research and development of industrial biotechnology. This event will also facilitate the implementation of Biotechnology Innovation and Bio-Industry Promotion Program and Bio-industry Science & Technology Innovation Union.
