Principal Investigator Positions in Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology (SCPSB) is a new institution of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which was established on April 28th, 2012 with an initial emphasis on plant stress biology and expects expansion to other important areas of plant science and biotechnology.

With joint funding from the Chinese central government, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Shanghai municipality and in affiliation with the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, SCPSB aims to become a world’s leading center for plant-related research. It will curate innovative, vibrant, and interactive research groups synergized by a battery of state-of-the-art core facilities.

Highly motivated and talented candidates are sought for principal investigator (PI) positions, including well-established, mid-level and junior PIs. Candidates of all nationalities who conduct cutting-edge research on any important areas of plant biology are encouraged to apply.

All PIs in SCPSB will be provided with competitive packages including set-up and annual operating funds, and research staff members at various levels as well as with attractive salaries and benefits.

All candidates must have postdoctoral experiences and significant research accomplishments in relevant research fields. Qualified candidates should send a cover letter, CV, statement of experiences and future research interests, and arrange to have at least three references sent to:
