Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (hereafter referred as SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereafter referred as CAS), founded in 1932 by Professor ZHAO Chenggu, has the longest history as a comprehensive research institution for drug discovery in China. 1. Discipline

1. Four consecutive years’ experience in overseas scientific researches after receiving a Ph.D;
2. Under the age of 40, the age limit can be extended to 45 for extraordinarily excellent applicant;
3. Be an expert or scholar taking a position equivalent to professorship at a prestigious overseas university or research institute;
4. Having published significant articles on core publications, or mastered key technologies, or owned major invention patents etc;
5. Reach the academic level of a Research Fellow;
6. Work full-time.

3. How to apply

1.Chinese Academy of Sciences’ “Overseas Outstanding Talents” Candidate Recommendation (Self-recommendation) Form;
2. Two letters of recommendation by renowned experts of the field (referees may send the electronic version of the letters of recommendation with their signature to the contact email provided below);
